Because Christ has forgiven us and made us His chosen, holy, and dearly loved people, we are called to forgive others—not because they deserve it, but because forgiveness reflects God's limitless love and sets us free from the burden of unforgiveness. As we are clothed in Christ with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, patience, and love, forgiveness becomes an act of obedience that restores relationships, reveals our identity in Him, and allows God's love to flow through us.
