Rochester Honkers Manager Thomas Walker
from Shoot Your Shot Hosted by Long Beach 908
Happy SUMMER! We called up Rochester Honkers manager and former Long Beach Poly baseball player Thomas Walker, who is coaching summer ball out in Minnesota. He tells us what he misses most about Long Beach and what it’s like being the youngest manager in Honkers history (13:02-37:54). We are the official podcast of the countdown to the 2028 Olympics in LA and have become the official podcast of the countdown to the World Cup in 2026 (2:43-10:59). We debated which sport flops the most in ‘Shoot Yours Hot Topic’ (44:31-48:50). As always we ended the show with the 908 Athlete of the Week. This week is Tampa Bay Rays shortstop Matt Duffy (50:14-52:56).
