ROCK N' ROLL CIRCUS #92

🚛 BREAKER, BREAKER 19! THE CB DOCTOR IS IN THE HOUSE! 📻 Anybody remember CB radios?! Back in the day, I ran a store for truckers down in El Paso for Petro Truck Stops. 🌵 Those cabs were the ultimate source of communication, and sayings like "Breaker Breaker 19, it’s the Regal Beagle!" rang out all over the fuel islands and the parking lot. Let me tell you, that truck stop parking lot was like the WILD WEST—a complete city unto itself! 🤠🏜️ 🩺 THE CB DOCTOR: I knew absolutely NOTHING about CBs when I took over the store, so I called in a massive favor from my buddy Neil Waxman, commander of Coronado CB. The massive roadside sign was highly valuable real estate, and I got the OK to use it on Saturdays. We threw up a message that said: "THE CB DOCTOR IS IN THE HOUSE!" We had a line out the door! 🤯 Neil sold a TON of CBs, and we drove plenty of business right into the store. HUGE shout out to Neil—he totally SAVED MY BACON! 🥓🙌 🕊️ REMEMBERING A LEGEND: I was actually thinking about the great John Denver today as I played Take Me Home, Country Roads. It is hard to believe it will be 30 YEARS next October since we lost him when his experimental plane crashed less than 100 yards from shore. What a legacy he left behind. ✈️🏔️ 🎸 THIS WEEK'S KILLER LINEUP: We have a REALLY good mixture of the new and the old this week! You absolutely gotta love Ry Cooder’s All Shook Up! 🕺 The Moodies and O.A.R. bringing us that incredible LIVE concert energy! 🎤🔥 Heavy hitters: Cheap Trick & The Stones! 👅 And perfect timing for Marc Ribler’s Who Could Ask for Anything More (as he says, we got Fauci)!! 🎶 🏢 BIG STUDIO PLANS & THE HUGGBOAT: Looking ahead to next year, we are going to try and have at least TWO, if not THREE, Third-Party Management champions live in the studio! 🎙️ And finally... Welcome Aboard the HUGGBOAT! 🫂🚢 It’s coming near you soon!! Crank it up and let's rock! 👽🤘 (Got a request?
