ROCK N' ROLL CIRCUS #99

FROM A SNOWY MOUNTAIN TO A WORLDWIDE PARTY: THE ORIGINAL PLAYLIST! 🏔️📻 Long before Radio Wilder was even a spark in my brain, I was on vacation up in Taos, New Mexico. Just looking out the window at the beautiful, snowy Taos Mountain, I threw together my very FIRST playlist called ‘Father and Daughter’. ❄️ Shelly and I share about a 50/50 split on the tunes and bands we love, so I recently dug back into the archives, found that exact playlist, and thought, "Why not turn this into a SHOW?!" 🤯 ✌️ In The Deuces: I threw the Deuces in specifically for Shelly! I know she is a massive Creedence Clearwater Revival fan, so we are spinning an absolute MONSTER hit—the legendary Etta James covering CCR’s Born on the Bayou! 🐊🔥 It is AWESOME! 🎶 The Father/Daughter Tracklist: The Beatles are scattered all over this episode because they magically appeared on BOTH of our individual lists! 🍏 My Picks: I am bringing Bobby Darin with Dream Lover and reaching deep into my personal "Homesick" collection for Randy and the Rainbows doing Denise! 🎙️ Shelly's Picks: She is bringing the heat with The Shelters (Birdwatching), Matthew Sweet (I've Been Waiting), The Alarm (Sold Me Down the River), and Duran Duran (All You Need Is Now)! 🎸💥 📈 The Stats: In just a spontaneous, ad-libbed couple of hours staring at that mountain, we somehow packed in FOUR songs officially rated in the Top 1,000 All-Time Rock Greats! (Numbers 19, 521, 579, and 655, to be exact). Pretty cool, huh?! 🏆 What originally started as a show purely for Shelly is now packed with the music that ALL of our amazing fans love! CRANK IT UP and let's get rocking! 🤘🎧 #RadioWilder #FatherAndDaughter #TaosMountain #ClassicRock #TheBeatles #CCR #EttaJames #BobbyDarin #DuranDuran #InternetRadio #RockHistory
