Your teenager may have the physical ability to be sexually active, but is that all it takes? The easy answer is, yes, but the real answer is quite a bit more complicated.  In our work we have seen numerous teenage pregnancies.  We have yet to see one in which the father and mother were prepared for what lies ahead.  Due to their immaturity and lack of understanding, they often are emotionally devastated.  We may think of this as a teenage problem, but in this episode we discuss this as being a parenting problem, or maybe a better word is, opportunity.  As parents we have the opportunity from the time they are young to teach them many different things.  One thing we often overlook to teach is emotional well being.
