Rockies Road Woes vs Tigers Home Fire | Colorado Rockies News

The Rockies, reeling from a nine-game road losing streak and sitting at 55-93, head to Detroit for a brutal test against the surging Tigers, who are 69-79 but crushing it at home with a 38-36 record and a 29-43 win rate when hitting two or more homers. Rockies’ rookie pitcher Gabriel Hughes (0-0, 5.81 ERA) faces off against Tigers’ Jackson Jobe (1-2, 4.45 ERA), while the Tigers have won six of their last ten games and look primed to exploit Colorado’s shaky pitching—currently surrendering runs at an alarming rate. With this being their third meeting this season, the Rockies’ road woes meet the Tigers’ home dominance in what could be a pivotal showdown.
