Rod Buchanan - Coach, personal trainer, brain-tumour survivor and founder of 'Bod by Rod'.

Welcome back to ‘Man in the Mirror.’ This week I’ve been in conversation with Rod Buchanan at his home studio/apartment in North London. Rod is a fitness coach, PT and the founder of hugely successful online coaching platform ‘Bod by Rod’ - which utilises his own adapted version of Barre workouts. Rod is also a brain-tumour survivor and he speaks very candidly on the podcast about how it affected him and made him reassess his life.Rod trained as a dancer in New York. He then worked on the West End stage and toured the world with artists such as Kylie Minogue. After his tumour, Rod moved into personal training which has culminated with his own online brand, ‘Bod by Rod’. His workouts take elements of Barre with uplifting music, positivity and good vibes. Rod also runs regular retreats to Mykonos for small groups of his clients. Rod has a brilliant morning and evening skincare routine, which he talked me through.
