This event celebrates the Haitian Revolution for freedom defeating France & slavery and the establishment of the first Black Republic in the Western Hemisphere. Soup Joumou will be served which is the national dish of Haiti along with other Haitian cuisine music and art are also a part of the celebration this is a free event but registration is required by calling (954) 965-3700
