Rodney Baltimore interviews Vernon Neely Community Engagement & Special Events Coordinator for the city of Deerfield Beach, FL for the 'Dr Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration on Monday January 19, 2026 .The theme: 'One Deerfield One Dream' starting at 10am to 2pm. the Parade starts at Pioneer Park heading West on Hillsboro Blvd. Grand Marshall will be Jenetta Williams. The Festival takes place immediately the parade at Johnny L. Tigner Community Center 445 SW 2nd Street Deerfield Beach , FL 33441 featuring elected officials, the FM Band, Quick the Poet, and this year a 2nd Stage inside the community center where the actual voice of Dr. King can be heard.
