El director de Turismo de la ciudad, Rodrigo Lole Inza, confirmó el buen momento turístico de la ciudad con más del 80 por ciento de ocupación.  Estiman que la próxima semana será mejor todavía.  Tandil tiene unas 8 mil camas de capacidad.  Según información oficial, 11 establecimientos (500 camas) cerraron sus puertas como resultado de la pandemia.  Algunos de ellos se reconvirtieron en geriátricos mientras que otros podrían reabrir sus puertas si la actividad turística vuelve a la normalidad. “Algunos aprovecharon este tiempo para hacer algunos arreglos  y volverán a la actividad pasadas las vacaciones de invierno”, adelantó el funcionario.
