Rodrigo Salazar Blanco es cinta negra 5to Dan en Taekwondo. Fue 11 años seleccionado nacional de México. Bronce mundial juvenil en el primer mundial junior que hubo en España.Campeón centroamericano, campeón panamericano, protagonista en diferentes mundiales de taekwondo y multimedallista en abiertos internacionales.Es director de la escuela Formación Olímpica Iridia Salazar campus Juriquilla y entrenador de la universidad Anáhuac.Es miembro de una de las familias más exitosas del taekwondo mexicano y mundial. Su hermano mayor Óscar Salazar fue medalla de plata en los Juegos Olímpicos de Atenas 2004 y su hermana medalla de bronce en los mismos juegos.Su padre, Reynaldo Salazar también ha sido uno de los más grandes competidores del taekwondo mexicano, medalla de bronce en el mundial de Chicago 1977 y plata en Stuttgart 1979.En la entrevista conversamos sobre su carrera, su trabajo actual como profesor de taekwondo y entrenador.El profesor Rodrigo tuvo una experiencia formativa muy valiosa. A los 17 años tuvo la oportunidad de participar en una gira por sudamérica llamada “Los mejores guerreros del mundo”.En esa gira se hizo una selección de practicantes de taekwondo de todo el mundo que iban a enfrentar los mejores practicantes de diferentes países de sudamérica.El profesor Rodrigo era el más joven del equipo Resto del Mundo. A los 17 años, sin tener mucha idea de inglés tomó un avión para Portland para asistir a esa gira.Otra decisión interesante del profesor Rodrigo es que apenas terminada su carrera deportiva, tuvo la oportunidad de ser entrenador de una selección estatal.Sin embargo, después de un corto tiempo como entrenador, prefirió emprender y dedicarse a su propia escuela de taekwondo para formar algo propio.También conversamos sobre las satisfacciones que te da una carrera exitosa como atleta comparadas con las satisfacciones que te da la vida de profesor.Ambas tienen sus puntos a favor pero la experiencia que te devuelve el ayudar a la transformación de otro ser humano es inigualable.La entrevista está llena de anécdotas como la de todo deportista con una carrera tan completa.La puedes escuchar en Ivoox, Spotify y Apple Podcasts y por supuesto, en los comentarios nos puedes contar qué aprendiste de la entrevista con Rodrigo Salazar.Notas del programa en https://pasiontaekwondo.com
