This week on GMTD the impossible is possible! We’re talking about the beloved, iconic, perfect magical Roger and Hammerstein’s Cinderella! We have THE Whitney Houston, THE Brandy, THE Whoopie Goldberg, THE Bernadette Peters… George Costanza… and here to talk about it all is our beloved, THE Phylicia McLeod! This ain’t your mothers bibbidi-bobbidi-boo Cinderella. This is belt-the-house-down, 90’s royalty, Broadway divas creating a damn CLASSIC “modern” Cinderella (is it through?) From the sets to the costumes to the MUSIC to the CAST to the jokes and the accents, this movie delivers in every. Single. Way. Needless to say this is the only Cinderella that matters! This is one our favorites so please sing-a-long and enjoyyyyy!! *we’d also like to issue a correction. The choreographer, Rob Marshal, is NOT in fact ~Garry~ Marshall famed director of such classics as; Pretty Woman, Princess Diaries, A League of Their Own etc. Our apologies for our ignorance. ** also sorry for how many songs Katelyn kind of half sings in this episode.
