I'm under the S one of four co-hosts of 50 Minutes. And yeah, just live in the dream. Still can't get off the high of one General Merrick winning the Glup Shadow of the week. That may be a whole year better.

Yeah, a lot of discussion on Twitter early and even behind the scenes, some people here wanted Merrick to win some of this wanted Suckas to win. So I wanted Suckas to win. We went from Suckas to Chopper in a Soka, hopefully murdering Stormtroopers. So we're ready to watch Star Wars and watch a little, a little movie out there called Rogue One, but we'll get to that.

So alright, so we're almost ready to start. Before we start with Rokwan, I'm sure everyone watched the Android trailer real quick where some thoughts on the Android trailer, how high high your eye for this show will start with you. It's sick. It was very cool.

That's all I can really say. Everything that comes out about the show makes me more and more excited. I started out being like, last for an end or show. And now like when is it coming out?

It's coming out a month after we were expecting it. Yeah, that's the only the only down point was that we got pushback for a whole month. But again, if they need more time to get everything set, we can wait a little bit. So are you excited for Android?

Yeah, yes. Oh, you know what? I have to do I watched it yesterday again. And something I noticed while watching it is how good the music is.

It's like if I pay attention to the music, that means it's a bad game because you know, it's not it's not really my thing. But it's so good. It just works to just hype up the attention of what's going on. And you know, I say this at almost every time it's like, I don't need action.

I just need people talking, you know, on both sides. And this, I hope gives me that gives me the politics of it all. I want to see people in the trenches with the Senate and all that and how things kind of move. Yeah, and it looks like we're gonna get a lot of that.

We saw in the trailer with Montmarthe and everything happening in the Senate behind the scenes looks very interesting. A lot of the things that we wanted just not following Android for top episodes. It's an example. So yeah, it's gonna be a lot of other stuff.

No, you're one of our residents. Rogue one stands out there. It's on your name, everything out there. So how excited are you for Android?

Can you wait another month or almost two months for that one? I can definitely wait, especially if it's like, it's gonna help them, you know, hype the show up more. They haven't been doing that a lot, which was a little bit worrisome. So thinking another month, take another month.

That's fine. I'm ready. I was literally, I've seen that trailer so many times. And each time I catch something different.

Definitely the last time was the music, Rogue it was like, Oh my God, it's so captivating at first it was giving a little bit of squid game like that main theme. And then as just the trailer goes, it just becomes more captivating. I love seeing saw that I'm so excited. They brought force back because his character is so key to telling this this revolution story.

So I'm excited. I know that I know they got it. I know it's yeah, especially that time period of five years before Rogue one, so get ready. It's very active.

And there's you love clinic. Yeah, we see him in your own and or but are you ready for and or I'm ready for and or I would do a dishonor if I didn't mention our role that though in 50 minutes is also like fanatic about and or since Rogue one. So this is like his dreams coming true. And yeah, I'm I'm stoked for the ISB angle.

Like I'm very, you know, my hope was like, give me West Wing and in Star Wars, like what's an imperial Senate? Because they're trying to do stuff and like ultimately the Empire still builds a best or something. Whatever legislation or whatever they're trying to pass is gonna get swash. Yeah, I'm curious to see that.

But then showing the ISB and like so much emphasis on those white suits. I was like, Oh, yes, like, yes, I actually, I don't think like I would love if we don't see chronic, but if we do see a young Moff Gideon, like climbing up the ranks and like just got chills, you know, like, yeah, like he's just like an like an officer in the background ranting about Mandalore and like, go back to the office. Yeah, we're not about that. But we know that by the end of the second season of And there's gonna go straight into Rogue one, he said it's gonna end right after I've seen our Rogue one starts.

And we're here for that one. So if you guys already, I'm no one really less Star Wars and our Rogue one watch party. And I should say this is all because we reach 150 subscribers on YouTube. That's when I say one we've reached that number will do our watch party.

We're up to 170 right now, trying to get to 200. And at some point, we'll figure something out. We'll watch another movie. But for now, this was Rogue one.

So if you guys are watching out there, we're on Disney+, doing the group watching the start stream now. So hopefully we can all sync up and just talk about this great movie as we go along. And hopefully again, I'm in Florida, which means thunderstorms might show up and then a minute. Hopefully my internet is fine.

So as it starts, no, no crawl. Well, you guys are priced and we didn't get the crawl. I know what's mentioned, but I was hoping for that crawl. I still think they should do the crawls.

There's nothing wrong with it. I like I like this. It's very art house. Like as the first Star Wars story, it very much gave me a okay, they're trying to be very deliberately like it's Star Wars, but we're not going to show you what should be Star Wars or whatever.

I like the no crawl. I thought it said it apart. And you know, it's not a part of the trilogy. It's different.

Yeah, for some reason I thought that not backlash a lot of people were kind of complaining that we didn't get one. I thought when the Blu-ray got released and maybe they add one, but no, but now I'm just used to it. It's fine. That's what we said.

What are they going to? Yeah, what are they going to keep that like if it's not skywalk, it doesn't have the crawl. They should keep it like, I don't know. A little thing for solo, not a crawl, but kind of it was like blue tacks not yellow.

This I think they should have done the crawl for for all of them. Well, for us and everyone out there that read catalyst, this thing here, we know why they're running why they've been hiding from Krenic. So I'm so excited when this movie started, catalyst me my favorite book at that point, and they should pile sock. Yeah, it's like a perfect lead up to like the end of catalyst, like the Alumu and right where almost right where it starts.

Yeah, I'm so glad that for the show, the and or by the keeping this the kind of grittiness and the world, the mountains, all that just with the liveliness, the scenery candy. Yeah, I read like one of the opening shots in the trailer where they're like hiking up that mountain, that took them so long, like it took them hours to get there. I just put one shot. It was worth it.

It looked awesome. Then all the backlash for the volume because then everyone hated the volume for two weeks after the trailer. It was power. That was the worst.

When the ship was away. The necklace, man. Yeah, you read Rebel Rising. Oh, yeah.

I'm actually reading it right now. Freshly, a little more. It's fine. I want to go over both books before the show, but I don't think I'm going to do it.

No, I thought about really catalysts without all the way. Right now, I have a little manager. That means you don't see it. I would love to see credit again.

And my mom might have a seat together. We just be fantastic. Yeah, it would be good play. And I just thought he's very trustworthy.

I'm like, oh, you're white. Yeah, anyways, I'm actually coming up to my car. And then he walked 35 minutes from my ship just to work away because your wife is dead. So I'm in there.

I also love that interesting. I showed it to some college students once upon a time when I was teaching some stuff. And it's such a useful framing of what the Empire really thinks they're building and the chief engineer being like, no, I know for a fact that cannot be the word you're using for this thing. It's something I love their back-to-back movement to.

You think you're 77 stormtroopers. I'm sad that in the novelization, she calls him an Eagleman Eigle coward. And I'm like, I wish the novelization came up before the movie. That would have been great.

She calls him that Lizzie. Yeah, Lizzie, as she's facing off with him. Yeah, she's never liked Krenic. She always knew that he was up to something.

One of the great things about Kerenis, and when you watch this, you know why she hates him so much and why he wants to take them back. Everybody would be crazy to trust Krenic just by his spirit. So we talked a little bit during the Android trailer about the music. And this is the first movie, the first movie with John Williams.

Michael Yakinno came in late about four weeks. He had to compose in his score. What do you guys think about it? People, I love it now.

I know a lot of people when it came out, didn't like it. It's kind of going up and down. What are your thoughts on the score? I love it.

I'll talk for hours. Don't. It's one of my favorite star warswars. I like certain things when I first watched it, but overall thought it was a bit OK, but with time, it's really growing on me.

I think it has some fantastic like themes and, you know, it builds on what Williams did. It takes a lot of elements from them, but it turns it into their own. It's a dumb thing for me. It's like a time.

It's kind of like I forget about it and a time. It like really hits you really well. I actually love the Imperial Suite. The time, the time, the time, the time.

That's so cool. He does a good job of like interweaving with main things, but not fully using them. Yeah, because at the end, the suite goes into the Imperial March. Yeah, so cool.

Very, very, even this is like sort of like the star wars fan. Yeah, it's almost like the main thing. It's like it's trying to be, but it's not quite. For me, the score is very like, it's very tense.

Like notes hang a lot. Yeah, they're just very kind of on the sharper end. So very urgent. Yeah.

It's a little way of so much in that first shot. Like, yeah. So real quickly, unless I hide for a friend con or he's here, he's watching Rebels very important. He's worried he'll be in and out.

Speaking of Andor being very similar to the Trumpian world. Just in the interviews. Like, oh, yes. Like my names.

Yeah. Great planet. There's a lot of world building in this movie. Jenna, now it's everywhere.

One of those. It's in the High Republic. Yes. So yes.

But I love how much of it is just like visual storytelling. Like, they don't really go like, well, you know, the jet I used to. Yeah. Yeah.

Yeah. You feel it. You know that two tubes. Which two tubes are we seeing?

Everyone has their we has the pack on the front. It doesn't. It's just two tubes. Don't worry too much about it.

It's one of the two tubes. So we have to see Brody in season two of Andor, right? I hope so. I hope we see him in Daelyn, you know, kind of meet up.

Oh, that's awesome. Yes. A pilot. Yeah, that would be awesome.

Also, we're done. It's just such a great actor. Like bring him back. For me, apart from this being the most like very star was movie is that the best acting at least for me, everyone brought their a game.

Overly, drop the ball. I love every one of these characters where they brought to the table was. I think this and the last Jedi are like some of the best acting we've seen. I think last year I was the best anything.

It is great. It's awesome. It's OK. You have to watch it in the audio only format.

Give it a chance. Oh, wow. That's crazy. It was so good.

Just as a piece of art. Yeah. That's not what I'm doing. Class, man.

They're resetting the canon. I'm telling you, this guy just wants to be free. I'm going to be there for my new charges. I could be Leanna Hallock.

You want to try? Well, this is one of the best line deliveries ever. OK, that's what I pop up ad voice like, you know, back in the early end days, you go on a website and like you're the two million visitor and you're like, that's to get this iPad. Then we just have no silly original score right there.

We see another droid. Now we ready for chocolate when it comes in later. I will say like seeing all of this in the theater just made me feel like a little kid again, like the props. The map, the map thing.

I just thought that they're also showing the communications team already because this movie is like very nerdy about like tactics and whatnot and like they're already planting the sea of like, hey, this is what the base does when it's not fighting the best star and stuff. Like they're just scanning communications and making decisions. We have a funny and not right there already. That's literally the shot.

Like one month mat. See, Jerry for Riley has to be so happy. She was cut out of Rogue One. I mean, episode three, then brought in for Rogue One and now a second building basically for the Andos show.

Yeah. She's looking, she just keeps looking better. Yes. He's wrong.

Eric, she looks like Molly Damon more every day. She could be aspiration is there. She's just not double. Molly's actually playing Martha.

We just annoyed it. That's going to be her tweet thread when the season ends. I'm like, all the other friends. Yeah, everyone else I got to go to the kenobi set.

So she went a little a couple steps. I do love this aside of like the only reason they need Jen is because Sagarera has been murdering Rebel pilots and spies that like show up on Jada to be like, hey, we have something to tell. I hope he gets to see like how Sogat says like such an unhinged part of his life, where he's like so interesting, very violent. Like we don't get a lot of nuance with him.

So I hope we see that. Yeah. I really want that scene with and or mochma Sagarera and Enfist. And that's saying on the table, I'm being like, yo, what up?

She was there a couple of years before. You're in the coaxial. I just want more Aaron Kellyman. Look at my mother believing in the Senate.

So Joe Biden of her. I love this. Look, look, look, look, he'll give a speech and everything will be signed. We took us the aisle and Hand him a Pepsi.

At this point, she knows she's like by herself. Like nobody else is like coming to a defense. So it's like, she's going to stop that. How big are those?

And then they did Dio, then BD1. That's bangers. They've been killing it in that department. This whole scene, the first time between Jin and Cassin is so great.

Everything about just going both ways, not having the weapon that K2, of course, will come into play later. The odds of using it against him. And then they go back and forth about K2 being at least on season two of Andor. He has to be there also, right?

Yeah, I think there was like a con that's been going on recently. And they pretty much confirm like he'll be in season two. And like they're like, we know you guys want him. We're into it.

I think he's going to be in season one, but not as how we know him now. I think that'll be one of the last scenes. Because I think season one is one year of his life. Yeah.

And the next season is like every three episodes is a year. Nice. So good, Rama. And I see now top of the list of after every Star Wars, anything that's out there.

I think it's top of the list right now. Yeah, I love that we're going to see so much thought. He deserves it. Yeah, for his wittaker.

I love what he did with the character. Now there was some complaints about the way for Kaleb. But I love actors that kind of, you know, give us all in that just play. So then for his wittaker, you know, gave us something really good.

I thought we were just going to get a reflection on the mirror. We get a full character here. I know they've gone to another level now with all the CDI and deep fits and all that, but you got to give it up for talking. This was like cutting edge at the time.

I remember sitting in the theater and I was like, you think what? You think that's interesting? I remember telling my dad like, oh, my God, the technology was incredible. He's like, no, they just got an actor that was identical to how I was like, no, no, they didn't.

It's good. My words. I'm actually very happy talking is in the movie. Like I don't care.

Like if it breaks, it makes sense. And it makes sense. If it breaks the uncanny valley, that's fine. We all know why he's not really there, but I love it.

That shot. Do you think we'll get more talking in in Nendor? Of course. I thought we were getting on the trail.

I think talking in and Krenick have to be there. Maybe some too. But I'm not convinced with Krenick. I love it if he's if he's if he's there, but talking, I think is the most.

I don't know. With that, it's spending the money on the CTI. I would love to. You may have a minute here.

Then that scene on Coruson straight out of Canada list. Yep. The reason what that book was so high on my list was for. And it was all a dream.

Again, it's such a pretty movie. Yeah. Just looks like they just landed in Utah. What's it?

Basically. The first time saying, sorry, destroyers in our atmosphere. The scale of it. Yeah.

That's huge. Again, Sagar has been causing him the trouble. The empire is like, we're just going to park a star destroyer. Leave it here.

I wonder how many star destroyers they have to go through. I can start attacking the star destroyers. I can blend it in. Drops the pack.

Perfect. Like does she come back and bring her pack again or does he pick it up again? She kicks it all the way there. He's so petty.

He probably liked it there. Boy, do it. The any of you take issue with this kaiju? No, I just never.

It reminds me too much of an octopus as someone who eats a VJ, like pretty like a link like tasty to some of them. Yeah, I was like, I'm not terrified. I'm actually like, do you have hot water nearby? I will fight him to the death.

I love the same because it's a weird creature in Star Wars that can read your thoughts. Yeah, exactly. It's just weird. Yeah, everyone reminded me of the rat thars because they just was so close after we forced away.

So another weird circular pentacle creature. Well, yeah, I just read your mind. I was told they didn't care for. And it's also like the inverse of like the empire using probe droids to get stuff out of folks who don't have access to a probe droid.

So borebell it. I also love the scene when they're showing all the different things and the calamari. I see. Yeah.

Because yeah, in the lead up, they were like, oh, yeah, John is like a kind of mecca kind of playing. So that scene just showing so many different pockets of people. Yeah. I like the outfits of the pilgrims too.

Like the red. So cool. Nope. Droids back there.

I'm not doing his job clearly. Like the right there. Just running away. He knows so he's around.

So I got to get out of here. Cassie's walking around in the biggest park jacket. Isn't it 100 degrees? What are you doing?

I love this character introduction. Hmm. You know, one of the things that I love about Roll One and when I was watching it in theater, is how unexpected the story was. There's always these two characters being revealed.

I just took it in a different direction. Yeah. And so many characters in the cast that had speaking parts and important things to play. Everyone had a chance to go through their story that by the end we're crying for everyone that just won character.

Stop chatting. We got stuff to do. One of those quotes. I think forever.

Yep. It's a little jester's in Jetta. So apparently the Stormtrooper that was on top of the tank is an actual US Army tank operator. Really?

And they brought him on to consult on how they would navigate through a city like Jetta. And at the end we're just like screw it. Can you just wear the armor? The tank's going to go where it's going to go anyway.

It's just like do things. We're really going to hold this. We're going to set this whole empire feel if you just do it yourself. Yeah.

Did you know that the Stormtroopers are based off you? Chaos. That's Warwick Davis, isn't it? Really?

Yeah. He plays two characters. He's always getting roles. The first big action scene.

That was what he hasn't been in on. The first two. Not since I returned to the Jedi because that's where he started with the Ewoks. I think he was in every single one.

Because in episode one he's Weasel on the pop racing. I forget who he is in episode two. I can't remember the prequel off the top of my head. But I remember I saw a picture and it was like every single episode and standalone movie he's in.

That's nice. All those royalty checks. I know, right? Not Sean.

He's like, he's like, I'll be in it. No, do they sell to you anywhere? If you have built a lightsaber at Galaxy's Edge, they have those crates and that's where they pull Kyber crystals out of the whatsoever. And when I saw that I like tiered up.

I cried during that whole experience. I didn't cry but I tiered up like big time. When they play the fourth thing, like as you first ignite your saber, I was done. It's for me.

It's like she'll do next to me. Like, why is she crying? For me. I took for this.

Yeah, I've been in this fight since I was six years old. Suddenly this is real for you. Okay. So like some kid just trying to enjoy his vacation at Disneyland.

Yeah, I've been playing for two years longer than I've been alive. Okay, two a man. He's not wrong. We're actually active investigation.
