Rojava Social Revolution, Pt 1 - 8/6/2024

Soundman Jim, Sue Kirchmyer and Mark learn about our word of the week which is another one of our latest series: the Rojava Social Revolution. This is the first part of our look at what Noam Chomsky said is a revolution that offers “a compelling alternative vision for reviving politics as a collective force for worthy and necessary social transformation.” We then take a careful look at the Israeli assassinations of Hamas and Hezbollah leaders, including the chief spokesman of the Hamas peace negotiators, hearing from Michael Hudson and Jill Stein on the issue. And finally we hear from Western Montana DSA organizer Sarah McClain who reads her opinion piece “Home of the Brave.”
