Role models, leadership, and the importance of community 029

This week's show takes a deeper dive into role models and Keith puts them in two categories family or famous. He cautions you to watch how you elevate them, do you place your role models on a pedestal? Do you have the ability to pivot? You need to be ready and okay with the letdown because people make mistakes. As a country, we find ourselves with a  real lack of leadership. America is in need of strong leaders as our so-called leaders show a lack of action send mixed messages and miss directed movement.  Our supposed leaders preach action and direction as they defy rules and regulations.  This all puts a spotlight on the importance of becoming your own leader and living for yourself.  A recent covid regulated funeral provokes research on the importance of tribalism and community. As humans, we are not complete without each other.  It is the connection that binds us together, the feeling of a fellowship from sharing common attitudes, interests, and goals.  Covid has ripped us from our tribes and communities leaving us alone with our thoughts and fears.
