Roller Coaster

In the final days of summer, Dinah and Robbie meet by chance in a crowded New Orleans bar—and fall for each other with the breathless speed of a roller coaster. But as their whirlwind romance carries them from an amusement park to the beaches of Waveland, Mississippi, a devastating storm is gathering over the Gulf. Set against the arrival and aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, Roller Coaster is a tender story about courage, survival, and the people who can change our lives even when we are given only a little time to love them. Inspired by “Roller Coaster,” performed by Luke Bryan and written by Cole Swindell and Michael Carter. Songbook: Country Music, Reimagined is a serialized fiction podcast featuring original stories inspired by the songs that shape our lives.
