Romans 11:1-5 ‘A Remnant Believes’ ‘ Why is the question of if God has failed to keep his covenant promises with Israel so important? Well, we could apply the same thinking to the church, could God fail to keep His promises to the church? Well Paul answers this in Romans 11, with an emphatic answer, God has not rejected Israel. Evidence is Paul’s own salvation, who was a Pharisee, an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, a Benjamite. Initially Paul was a great threat to the church but then he was redeemed and his life Changed to such an extent that Paul became the most zealous evangelist and Christian leader of his day.
