Romans 12:1-2 Transformer

Romans 12:1-2 is one of the most practical and challenging calls in all of Scripture, and it is directed at every believer, not just pastors or missionaries. Paul urges Christians to present themselves as living sacrifices, not out of guilt or fear, but in response to the mercy God has already shown. The problem many believers face is not an unwillingness to surrender, but a tendency to negotiate the terms or quietly crawl off the altar when obedience becomes costly. Transformation comes through the renewing of the mind, and that renewal happens as believers stay in God's Word and remain surrendered to the Holy Spirit. When the mind is being renewed, discerning God's will becomes clearer and more natural. Surrender is not a one-time decision. It is a daily practice of placing every area of life before God and trusting Him with all of it.
