In order for unity to be maintained in the church there must be freedom for Christians to express their opinions without judgment or contempt because this is God’s will for the church through Jesus (Romans 14:1-10)2. Conservative Christians will approach certain categories in life with revered speculation for a variety of reasons, whereas the liberal Christians will approach those same categories with more freedom (Romans 14:1-10)3. Even though Christians may talk about their different approaches to life’s categories, they are to pursue the things which make for peace and the building up of one another (Romans 14:5, 19)
