Romans Chapters 7-9

In this episode, we read Romans chapters 7 through 9, where Paul dives deeper into the struggle with sin, life in the Spirit, and God’s sovereignty. In chapter 7, Paul describes the inner battle between wanting to do what is right and still struggling with sinful nature, showing humanity’s need for deliverance through Jesus Christ. Chapter 8 brings hope and encouragement, declaring that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Paul explains the freedom found in living by the Spirit, the assurance of God’s love, and the promise that all things work together for good for those who love Him. In chapter 9, Paul shifts to discuss God’s faithfulness to Israel and His sovereign purposes in salvation. He emphasizes that God’s mercy and calling are according to His will and plan. Romans 7–9 reminds us that while the struggle with sin is real, victory and freedom are found in Christ, and we can trust in God’s perfect love, power, and purpose.
