Romans - No Excuses

Paul begins Romans by establishing why humanity desperately needs salvation. God's wrath is revealed against all ungodliness and unrighteousness because people suppress the truth about God. When societies reject God, five desecrations follow: worship becomes misdirected, idolatry replaces true worship, marriage is devalued, humanity's divine image is distorted, and society celebrates evil while condemning good. Everyone knows right from wrong through creation and conscience, yet no one lives up to even their own moral standards. External religious practices cannot save anyone - only genuine heart transformation through Jesus Christ can rescue us from God's righteous judgment.
