Romans, The Righteousness of God Revealed Part 2: The Power of the Gospel

Romans 1:16-17 "For I am not ashamed of the Gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, "But the righteous man shall live by faith." What is more transformative than the new birth?! When someone receives Jesus as their Lord and Saviour, one of the most amazing miracles takes place within them; they become a brand new creation! (2 Corinthians 5:17) We don't see any change on the outside, but the inward man becomes a brand new creation, a recreated spirit, a born-again child of God! That person who was once in darkness, separated from the life of God, unrighteous, sinner, becomes, in a moment, righteous, holy, and blameless in the sight of God! (Colossians 1:22)
