Romans Week 2 | Thanksgiving and Thesis

Paul is writing to all those in Rome who are loved by God and called to be set apart for a sanctified life. He is thankful for their faith and trust in God's power, wisdom and goodness. His purpose in writing is for mutual encouragement and to preach the gospel in a way that brings understanding and real life change. Prepare for this week's teaching by reading Romans 1:8-17Rome was founded in 753 B.C. and by the time of Paul it was the greatest city in the world! Paul wrote his letter to the Romans in AD 57.
