Rome, S01E01- The Stolen Eagle

Thank you so much to Shaun for getting us started on this new series, which is something that a lot of people have recommended! I'm totally shocked that I watched this episode once already, because I didn't even remember a thing. And this makes even less sense considering that it's a really good episode of television and has a super compelling setup. I'm impressed with this show's ability to depict terrible shit without seeming to glorify it the way that shows like...oh, say...Game Of Thrones does. I'm really excited to keep watching, and I hope you enjoy the episode!
