Rome, S01E03- An Owl In A Thornbush

Thank you very much to Yama for commissioning this episode! I'm really hopeful that more of Rome gets commissioned, because I'm pretty into this show's decision to tell a story and just stand back and let it unfold without really seeming to take a side on what it's showing us. I think that's kind of rare, and I'm going to be interested if this is a trend that continues. This episode, Cesar marches on Rome and the whole senate sits there with their thumbs up their asses, assuming that their troops at home will have their backs. Problem is, they can't mobilize fast enough...and then there's the fact that some dudes have stolen basically the entire treasury.
