The central defender produced a brilliant 90th-minute header from Wilson Odobert's cross to score his third goal in as many games and ensure we didn't leave Turf Moor empty-handed, having found ourselves denied by a string of Martin Dubravka saves and the frame of the goal over the course of the contest. His central defensive partner Micky van de Ven had earlier fired us into a deserved lead, but Burnley fought back with goals from Axel Tuanzebe and Lyle Foster either side of half-time. Without a win in 13 Premier League outings beforehand, the Clarets looked set to cling on despite our heavy pressure for what would have been a famous win - until Romero, much like he did at Newcastle United last month, took matters into his own hands to make it 2-2 at the end. There was still a sense of frustration for the team at full-time, though, having gone close to adding to the scoreline on multiple occasions.
