Ron Desantis makes Disney pay taxes

Florida lawmakers have voted to strip Disney of its special status as a self-governing area as the war between Governor Ron DeSantis and the company rumbles on.  The Republican led House gave final passage to a bill that would end the Reedy Creek Improvement District, meaning the firm will no longer be able operate as a self-contained government.    'It seems as [though] Mickey and Minnie have joined us in the chamber today,' State Rep.
