Rongotai candidates clash over transport on Politics Monday

The candidates for Rongotai have clashed over the issue of transport. Newstalk ZB's Wellington Mornings held its debate for the Wellington electorate this morning. National Party candidate Karuna Muthu says they'll be ditching the Let's Get Wellington Moving plans for light rail. He says there are a range of cost effective projects that should be advanced, rather than light rail. Green Party Candidate Julie Anne Genter wants it prioritised. She says it will enable a lot more housing. Labour Party Candidate Fleur Fitzsimons wants Let's Get Wellington Moving accelerated.
