You will also learn how some of God's people are actually "paralleling"―without realizing―the Scientology precepts of: Release of inhibitions; and, Knowledge reports. This teaching will protect you from the vicious cult of Scientology and, also, help you to be more empowered by God's love. ________________________________________ ROOF OF SILENCE & THE CULT OF SCIENTOLOGYLOVE IS THE GREATEST OF THESE So many times we hear psychologists, and others, say that it is not good to keep things pent up inside us; that is, we need to express our opinions or views. They teach that we are to express ourselves outwardly and openly. As a young minister preaching in the open air in large metropolitan cities in different countries, I would sometimes cross paths with people bound by Satan who were involved in the dangerous cult of Scientology. They would have their disciples go out into public places and do and say foolish things to release―"purge" or "clear" them―of inner regressions. One day I went―at the request of friends―to a Scientology center to visit a Scientology Volunteer Minister who was a relative of theirs … and about whom they were concerned. I told him that he was a "minister of Satan" and that I was a minister of Christ and I had the POWER to cast the demons out of him. A voice speaking from the Scientology worker immediately said, "We will not come out. This is our house." NOTICE: The use by the demon(s) speaking, using the words "We" and "our" and "house." (There were many demons in him.) The Scientology Minister did NOT want help and refused my offer to pray for his deliverance. Two weeks later he was admitted to an insane asylum and I think later committed suicide. ________________________________________ RELATIONSHIP OF GOSSIP & RELEASE BOTH ARE DEMON INSPIRED________________________________________ Many of God's People are doing a "release" of inner regressions―like the Scientologists―but on a different plane: they "release" gossip about a person by bringing up things (true, false, or imagined) about a person's past. Such people are (many times unknowingly) trying to "purge" themselves of inner hatred, bitterness or jealousy. If we have something "inside us" that we should share with someone privately, we should make every effort―in love―to disclose that to the person involved. However, there are times when it is better, as my mother used to say, to "let sleeping dogs lie." I say it this way, "Be quiet and pray in tongues (the language of the Holy Spirit). Then, do what God tells you to do." A "gossip"―a person who gossips―is defined as "a person who likes talking about other people's private lives in a chiefly derogatory manner." NOTE: This does NOT include a person who relays objective material for the true sake of protecting other people. (Such as a valid "whistleblower.") It is interesting to note that the word "devil" is from the Greek "diabolos" and means "a traducer: one who attacks the reputation of another by slander or libel," and is synonymous with "backbiter, slanderer, defamer." The Holy Bible also talks about "busybodies," which in the original Greek means "to meddle, to work all around" and sometimes refers to the "curious arts" or the "works of Satan." The devil is actually the source of gossip, whether true or false, and merely uses―or works through―the "instrument: the person doing the gossip." Scientologists are encouraged to "write up" fellow members—even relatives and spouses—through the use of "Knowledge Reports." ________________________________________ SCIENTOLOGISTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO WRITE UP FELLOW MEMBERS THRU THE USE OF "KNOWLEDGE REPORTS"________________________________________ Especially egregious is the action of a Christian, one who claims to know Christ, who talks about another person in a defaming way, working around as a busybody―a gossip―about other people's private lives. So repugnant is this action to the Lord that the Holy Spirit equates it to being a "murderer or a thief or an evildoer." "But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters." (1 Peter 4:15) The Holy Bible tells us that "Love bears all things, hopes all things, endures all things." (Brit Chadashah: 1 Corinthians 13:7) The Greek word for "bear" here used is the word "stego" and means "to roof over;" that is, "to cover with silence." It also has the thought of "enduring patiently." ________________________________________ A LIE CAN TRAVEL HALFWAY AROUND THE WORLD WHILE THE TRUTH IS PUTTING ON ITS SHOES – Mark Twain_______________________________________ Love covers and conceals the faults of another person. The scripture admonishes us to "be earnest in your love among yourselves, for LOVE covers a multitude of sins." (1 Peter 4:8) We need to "roof over" the sins, faults, and imperfections of others. So many of God's People are sick, incapacitated―or at the least physically not at their best―because they dig into the lives of others. They forget that God does NOT even do this, nor does He allow Satan to do this. Especially when one gossips―or brings forth information in a demeaning manner―about the past of a believer in Messiah Jesus, they are going beyond the BLOOD of Christ. In this way they are violating the Law of the New Creation, and setting themselves up as little gods, declaring the BLOOD of Messiah as impotent, and NOT efficacious. "Therefore if anyone is in Messiah, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new." (Brit Chadashah: 2 Corinthians 5:17) Such people receive bad reports from another, and do not even pay the person against whom the report was made the courtesy of asking them "Is this true" ... or asking ... "What is your side of the story?" I usually tell people, "I wasn't there, I didn't see it … so don't tell me about it." A person who is empowered by God's love never makes the sins or failures of another person the subject of either censure or conversation." Isn't it really much easier―and better―to bring up the GOOD things about a person―past or present―than the bad? It is actually a litmus test of WHAT is inside YOU. Look for and proclaim the GOOD―"roof over"―and cover the bad. Only when current error or danger proceeding from a person's life needs to be exposed should we consider taking the roof off of the matter. And remember: "Judge fruit … NOT motives." When you judge others, you are really taking the cover off of yourself and showing what is inside YOU. You are effectively saying, "If I were in their shoes, I would be doing that." "Judge not, that you be not judged." (Brit Chadashah: Mattiyahu / Matthew 7:1) Love covers and conceals―it "roofs over"― everything as far as it can. If a person empowered by God's love is the only one who has knowledge of the situation, he keeps it in his own heart: He or she "roofs over" the incident. I trust this teaching has helped you, and that it will help you to be more empowered by God's love. My friend, let me ask you the most important question of your life: If you were to die right now, do you know for sure that you would go to Heaven? If not, pray this prayer: "God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, if Jesus is really my Messiah, please reveal Him to me and I will serve You the rest of my life. Please forgive my sins. Help me to live for you the rest of my time on earth, and take me to Heaven when I die. Amen." Baruch haba b'Shem Adonai.
