Rookie Blunder Costs Guardians Game | Cleveland Guardians News

Guardians fall 4-2 to Rangers in a game turned on a rookie blunder—outfielder Cooper Ingle mistook a two-out fly for the third out, throwing the ball into the stands and letting a run score. The error overshadowed Tanner Bibee’s solid seven-inning outing, as Texas added a homer in the eighth. The Guardians’ skid now stretches to seven losses in 11 games, finishing June at 15-26 after a stronger May. They head back to face the Rangers hoping to snap the losing streak.
