Rookie Carter Jensen Shines Again | Kansas City Royals News

Rookie catcher Carter Jensen just stole the show with his American League Player of the Week award—his first ever, at just 23 years old. He obliterated stats last week: .400 AVG, 3 homers, and a ton of extra-base hits, turning around a rough August to roar into September. It’s déjà vu from last year’s stellar September debut, proving he’s built for this month—and maybe even destined for greatness. As the first Royals rookie to win this since 2022 and the first since Bobby Witt Jr., Jensen’s breakout signals a bright future for KC, especially with Jac Caglianone also heating up. The young core is stepping up—and making noise. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
