Rookie’s Wild Error Defines First Week | Cleveland Guardians News

Cooper Ingle’s major league debut turned into a viral nightmare when he botched a crucial fly ball, thinking it was the third out — only to watch the Rangers score two runs and take the lead. The rookie catcher-turned-outfielder, who’d been crushing it in Triple-A with 12 homers and 41 RBIs, now faces the weight of social media scrutiny and his own embarrassment. His first week already included a hit, an RBI, and this unforgettable blunder — and he’s already looking ahead, refusing to let one play define his journey.
