The width of a dibber will vary and thinner dibbers are best suited to sowing seeds and cuttings, while planting small bulbs requires a thicker tool. They usually have a measure along the side.Widger - A widger is a small, metal instrument shaped like a spatula, It’s used to lift out seedlings and rooted cuttings with minimal damage – it is inserted into the growing medium so it scoops under the delicate roots and pushes them up from below, rather than them being pulled from above. Today's ‘Garden Tea’ recipe - Dandelion Tea recipe on our Instagram page Carrot Pesto - wash carrot tops and dry off a little. Add to blender with olive oil, pine or walnuts, parmesan or vegan cheese and blend - no quantities here - just involve your tastebuds in the process.Carrot skin snack - wash then peel carrots into a bowl, add a splash of olive oil a salt, mix well, place on a baking tray, pop into a warm oven, and crisp - don’t burn!
