"Until the end of your faith"- Most of the New Testament's goal is that you many know you are saved. You can stil reject Jesus and blaspheme His name. Yes, you can be confident your name is written in the Book of Life, but that (the salvation prayer) is not the end of your faith. 1 John is full of "if"s because believers should be a living faith. There are no comatose believers. You must invest in your salvation. God is faithful and He does His part. Are you faithful? Do you do your part? Make a point to establish that you are a follower of Jesus Christ every day! Does Jesus define you? Do you trust Him every day when it costs you something? When the world is evil and hard, we should still be satisfied. Your fiath is about to be tested. Will you stand....until the end of your faith?
