Rope (1948) - Alfred Hitchcock's Murderous Dinner Party Film

Rope from 1948 is a little known Alfred Hitchcock film that deals with one of Hitchcock's favorite subjects....MURDER!!! Specifically, murder that is intellectually argued as a "good" for society. Rope stars John Dall and Farley Granger as Brandon and Phillip, two well-to-do New Yorkers who have just murdered their friend, David. What follows is a tension-filled dinner party of paranoia that leaves the audience to wonder just how long before David's body is discovered by the party-goers.  Get 20% OFF Manscaped + Free Shipping with promo code CINEMA20 at https://manscaped.com (affiliate link) Find The Cinema Psychos Show on Youtube - 🔴 SUBSCRIBE on YOUTUBE and SMASH THAT BELL TO OBLIVION!  — https://rebrand.ly/z0uf0cl Watch more episodes here: https://www.youtube.com/@psychosshow J Dub's Video Nasties (John's awesome movie channel)  - https://www.youtube.com/@JDUBSVIDEONASTIES/   Follow The Cinema Psychos Show on Socials ❤️‍🔥: Discord: https://discord.gg/7GZ9uuTJ Tiktok: https://www.tiktok.com/@cinemapsychosshow Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/psychosshow/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/PsychosShow Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/psychosshow Threads: https://www.threads.net/@psychosshow   Listen to The Cinema Psychos Show on: Spotify: https://rebrand.ly/0v6eeno Apple: https://rebrand.ly/j5nrkp7  Amazon: https://rebrand.ly/5x5hzng Goodpods: https://rebrand.ly/picstv6 OR LISTEN ON YOUR FAVORITE PODCAST APP! https://cinemapsychosshow.com/follow   MAIN TITLE: "Red Alert"  AUTHOR: Jack Waldenmaier PUBLISHER: Music Bakery Publishing (BMI) WARNING: UNAUTHORIZED USE OF THE MUSIC CONTAINED IN THIS PRODUCTION IS SUBJECT TO CRIMINAL PROSECUTION.
