He bragged so hard how well she could sing. Priscilla finally decided to go. She wore a wide brim hat and a striped suit and kept a tiny recorder in her pocket under the pocket lining. There was another lining sewed beneath it so the recorder wouldn’t fall through.Priscilla loved Rosa’s singing. But she could tell that Rosa was in pain. After her performance, Priscilla went backstage and peeped in Rosa’s dressing room. Her door was cracked open. She saw Rosa trying to cover a bruise on her face with makeup.
