To the rose 🌹 Each verse is an acrostic of the flower. The pic is a rose from the garden. Today is called Vardavar in Armenia. As part of the celebrations you are allowed to soak randomers with water. Roses are associated with it traditionally back to pagan times and were offered to the Goddess, Astghik whom is revered as the embodiment of beauty, love, fertility, and water.
