Recently Latinx Student Congress which is made up of middle school, high school and college students collaborated with parents and other community allies to get over 1000 signatures demanding Santa Rosa City Council deny a petition for a cannabis dispensary in the old Roseland University Prep campus. There will be an event on December 7th, but the council will also have a listening session and will consider building a cultural center and library in Roseland.
