So for the business We've like kind of closed up on all the business We finished up a teat neat ghost tent last night and we don't have anything going so we're looking at not Really anything probably tell the first of the year.
I know it's it's the holidays our business is no business And after this month Raven is breathing a huge sigh of relief. So last night we went to Petini and if you have never been there the next time we go We'll be probably in the spring it is fantastic So for those who are not familiar what is a petini?
Petini does a school it was built 1901 it was kind of decommissioned as a school in 1988 but per the Per the charter charter of the school when they built it They said if it was ever not a public school it needed to be turned back to the community So the community has kind of taken it over and it's now the museum reception center You can have weddings there you can rent it out for parties or meetings or conventions It's really kind of a hop in place. It is a very neat museum and The people there are great to work with us and let us to come and go stunt in that venue and it's a terrific venue I actually went to school there second through fifth grade so it's got a little bit of a connection with me So last time when we went we heard an audible scream We actually we all heard it and we happened to be filming and so we've got it on a recording on the recording. It's really really faint Those of us that heard it in real life It sounded like it was right there and we can hear it on the recording really easily If you weren't there you have to kind of listen to the recording a couple times before you can hear it But it's cool so my group We started in that same spot last night. We're gonna go to that same spot You know, you're not always gonna get the same thing You know, it's not like Disneyland and you know that you can go ride It's a small world first and then you're gonna go get on cars and then you know, but we went there I thought you know, I know that this is an active area You know, so we're gonna start here where we were was down in the basement There was a hallway and the hallway has a motion light and every time we've been there there has been a motion light Well, Dave the guy who kind of oversees it and helps us.
He said hey I got that light turned off for you this time and I thought yes Yeah, he actually went down and taped up a shield in front of the sensor so the sensor couldn't register and turn on Yeah, and so I was like awesome. That's awesome So we went down there. We're in the dark and we went right to the same place where we heard the screen In our group There's people that hadn't investigated before and a couple that had they had their dowsing rods and they had some other stuff with them And they were actually doing really good asking questions and I got to kind of just kick back for a little bit We're all kind of and I always tell people don't get so involved looking at the lights and equipment that you forget to look around because you're gonna see orbs You're gonna see shadow people, you know If you kind of keep that periphery and you're not staring at lights all the time But at this moment We were all kind of staring at the ground because we had a spirit asking and answering questions through the ghost meter pro And all of a sudden the light came on and we're all just all blinded right? These are like the kind of the floodlights they use down there right?
Yeah, so like the hallway yes, and they're bright because there's no windows down there You're down in the original foundation, which is like a hundred foot thick sandstone practically That's maybe a touch of an exaggeration, but it's it's not like foundation snouties But you're underground too, and you're underground you know very bright lights We're all like we're blinded and it went off about three seconds later And I thought oh I wonder if Dave, you know was trying to turn off a different light and accidentally turned on this one or You know and so I texted Chad and I said hey We us Dave if he turned the lights on a few minutes later know didn't you know as I thought I'm gonna just run up and just see if I can figure out what's going on so I went to go up the stairs and Dave was coming down and I said Did you happen to turn the light on down here? No, and he showed me where it was he goes It's right there. He says the motion sensor is right there. He says if it's tripped and the light turns on He says the motion sensor holds the light on for two minutes, and then it goes off He says how long was it on for I said it wasn't on longer than two three four seconds at most it went on It went on and he says there's no way that could happen.
That's creepy Yeah, he says if it's gonna get tripped it's gonna stay on the motion sensor Mm-hmm, and so the one of those things we can't debunk you know He's like I don't know how it would only have been on for three seconds Can we prove it was a ghost no, but we know that it wasn't the natural functioning of that light And we've had every time I've had major activity at between school. It's been right there So is that same spot where the one patrons saw the full-body apparition? Yes I thought it might be you yes, that was my cousin That's in the crawl space there. That's where I saw a shadow figure last time.
I was there I didn't see any last night, but I was with moon last night. We were partnered up with our group She was like a magnet last night We enter a room and she started getting responses with the K2 and then they just disappear And then we go into the next room and they'd be there and it's like we were chasing him from room to room But I got no evidence on the SLS except in that crawl space and suddenly two figures appeared And one was on the ground and the other was standing over him I did get this recorded by the way the video. I wasn't running an EVP recorder at the time and you know the SLS doesn't record audio Unfortunately, we asked the one that was standing up to raise its hand and it did awesome So that pretty good corroborated that and then later on we started getting a lot of EMF activity in one of the main floor was a name floor No, it was an upper floor room I think no it was a lower floor room I put the SLS away by then and took out the night vision and Suddenly there was just orbs swirling around moon and I turned just in time to see one come flying all the way across the room towards her One of one of the patrons last night was using my night vision camcorder shooting video and in review today She actually caught two orbs also flying around moon. Wow.
Yeah, so that was exciting to get you know Some visual evidence like that. So we went down into the used to be the Second gymnasium. I think they called it the girls gym I don't remember but I just know that that's why I played dodgeball and I hated dodgeball And my method of playing dodgeball was hit by the ball early then I could just go stand in prison for the rest of the game That was that was how I played dodgeball, but they've turned it into like a couple different dance studios with the ballet bars and the mirrors There's a lot of mirrors down there. So I think that brings in a lot more activity But in the in the one room There's like a great and if you go back where you were you can look in that you can see down through that great and kind of see into The dance studio and when we were there I had popped upstairs for just a second and whiskey took our group You know back back in that little crawl space and they you know They could see where it kind of went into that room So then when we went into the ballroom whiskey's like oh, this is that great that we could see through and And there was a type three back there that we named Egbert Egbert followed whiskey around the rest of the night Whiskey had his Rampod the one that he made and Egbert just he kept tripped we had to finally turn off because it just got annoying Because he just kept turning it on turn it on turn it on but we got a lot of activity just from a lot of the Just regular spirits the type ones ran across a family who the dad actually shot mom and two boys That was kind of sad that kind of dampened the whole mood of the room ran across a fellow That said he got killed by a sword and then when we started talking to him about it a little bit more He said he didn't want to talk our night was just opposite though And we started off real hot because that light turning on you know was within the first half hour Yeah, that'd wake you right up.
Yeah, and then as the night went on it got kind of quieter for us So it was still time everybody had a good time. Yeah, it was it was nice. It was nice being indoors too I don't know there's been blowing and it was cool. There are historical cabins out on the grounds, right?
That I remember last time I was there I picked up some activity there but no Nobody really wanted to go out there. I think that was at the library because the library. Yeah, that's the American Fork Library There's cabins but eat neat. There's just there's the original school the old school in 1901 There's the new part of the school which was built in 1950s and then since I have been there so since 1988 I wasn't in grade school in 1988.
Oh, yeah, I remember they've built it in your classroom Yeah, there's a there's an amphitheater that they have since built it. Yeah, there's no cabins on that property Well, yeah, it was too cold to go out anyway So it was nice being a nice warm building yes, and we had several people show up in costume So that was that was nice. Yeah, we gave up prices if you come on Halloween. We're costume We'll give you a price.
That's right I didn't want to wear a costume costume because I thought in a leading and you know I want to look kind of professional but I found at the farmers market a TRO with a raven on it So I wore my raven TR. There you go. It's how can you not? Yeah, so we had an advanced paranormal booth at Eremor.
Got a lot of people signed up for the things and TikTok and If they had a chat and Emmett TR, I would have bought them for you, but they don't have those. They don't have those. No All right, so you get to our main topic? Sure.
Oh, did you want to talk about a residential? Oh, oh, yeah, we're forgetting a residential You know, how can you get that residential? You know when you do residential you need all sorts of people and This is true And there are not ghosts at every residential we show up at exactly this one is very interesting the client called us There's a husband and wife and the wife was fantastic She you know, she told us what was going on She thought that there's a spirit that had been with her for a while felt that it was causing some health issues which they can and We were able to find two portals close the portals And basically she had there's a little boy spirit in her closet that was scared of the entity that was kind of picking on her Through the course of the investigation. We don't believe that the spirit was causing her health issues.
It was definitely causing some The spirit and grief and negative feelings and if you're already dealing with health problems And then you just feel oppressed by a negative spirit. That's just not gonna help That's just gonna compile stuff on at one point. We called Newman at the beginning of the investigation before Newman for you Split off you actually identified that there were a number of type ones and you helped them cross over and they went pretty quickly There were 11 spirits in this residential and we determined that nine of them were type ones They'd come to the portal and so, you know We just said you know, you guys can see the light and everyone's gonna have a little different viewpoint of portals and how you cross over spirits But one thing that we have learned that works for us is that those spirits can see where to cross Just they get focused on other things and they they forget about it or they avoid it or they just don't notice it because their attention Deltzware and so we've noticed that we say hey look around, you know Can you see the light and almost always they say yes and we say you know go just just go through the light And so that's what we told them we said hey, there's any spirits here that want to cross over You know, just stop what you're doing look around look at that light go through the light So they didn't they all went almost immediately. I mean you could it was so palpable you could feel it Yeah, and oftentimes when we help with the crossing over, you know, there's a lot of times, you know Everybody's focusing and getting ready to possibly do that.
It was just like, oh, they all went Yeah, you know because sometimes they need a little extra energy to you know to pull their focus where they need to be but Yeah, no sooner did I say go look at the light go go trot through it. They're like, boom gone So because she was feeling that the health issues might be in part caused by this negative entity that was there I thought you know, I want to call Newman just an extra because it's amazing what he can see Remotely remotely she had mentioned that she and her husband, you know I've been very much in love with some things that happened and they were going through a little bit of a rough time and When I call Newman, I don't tell him anything. I just gonna say hey, we're dealing with you know something I think that we need your help with it Now he's owned in right on that and he said you know you need to go get the husband and have him come in there with the wife And he went through some affirmations with them Which is one reason why I will also call him if there's a marital dispute, you know that might be exasperated by a negative spirit And he walked them through this and you know, it took that the husband was a was a close-minded skeptic He had zero belief in it bless his heart Christie had to do some fancy talk to him to come into the room to sit with his wife and Then Newman went through the affirmations and the wife you know was all in and the husband seemed all in as soon as we were done I walked out to put some stuff away in the husband Apparently after Newman hung up the husband was not all in So I don't know how that's gonna go down But I hope that the wife was able to get a little bit of peace And I'm just assuming that things are going well because if they don't I usually get a call back in the next day or two It's been three days and I haven't heard anything So that's a good sign so far so good. Yeah, no news is good news Yeah, but we did have we had it like a cat pulsating on their bed And if you're if you don't know what a cat ball is it's a cat toy you turn on and if a cat you know The idea is if a cat bats it around and it lights up They're not super duper sensitive you have to move it fairly significantly for it to light up And this would turn on it would turn off and it would almost immediately turn back on and then turn off almost immediately I did that probably a dozen times at least and I've never seen it do that before well Yeah, usually it takes like 10 seconds to stop flashing.
Yeah, well, yeah, and it just it was going for probably three four minutes solid Wow. Yeah, and then I was no and I need to go back and listen to my EDPs I just have not had time between school and endless ghost hunting and back back competitions I've had zero time But we were doing an EDP session at that residential and nobody was talking and you know on your audio It makes a little lines and a lot of your talk a lot of little lines go And I'm sure people know what the names of those little lines are but I don't yeah the waveform Yeah, thank you. I'm nobody was talking and there was a little bit of waveform I thought you that's an EDP. I need to go listen to that.
It was good a miss station I still have to review my EDPs from the teak neat Actually got quite a few audio files there. I gotta listen to I do too I need to as soon as I finish my paper I need to just sit down for an hour and just listen to all my EDPs over the last couple days Oh, all right now. Can we get to our main topic? Indeed so this main topic I think fascinating So our main topic is called the Rosenheim poltergeist And we've talked about poltergeists here and there and everyone's seen the movie poltergeist and everyone assumes that this happens In someone's home.
You know that was just on cable the other day and I caught it and I remember it scaring me to death When it came out yeah in the 80s or something yeah, yeah, and I looked at it today I was just kind of almost laughing at it the other day. It's like wow It's not like that at all right, right? So let me just kind of recap on poltergeist So I think kind of the common if you asked kind of just the average person they're gonna say that a poltergeist is a noisy ghost and You'll throw us things around. There's actually a theory out there what the parapsychologists refer to as RSPK which is recurrent spontaneous psychokinesis and It's a phenomenon that can actually be driven by repressed anger or frustration in a human being and it usually is centered around a pre-pubescent Child especially girls just because of all the psychological and biological changes that they're going on You know this repressed anger just comes out Manifesting as you know moving pictures on walls and breaking things and turning lights off and on it can be you know We can say maybe it's not you know the powers of the person you know or energy in the person being focused It could be that these girls are you know pre-pubescence as that word pre-pubescence Just with these emotional issues they could just be literally an open doorway from 11 lent entities to use that you know that raw Emotional energy to give them power to disturb your their surroundings So you could do one of those two things but I think ultimately it comes through the emotions of a human person if that makes sense Going back to the Rosenheim poltergeist this actually happened in started in 1967 And it was not a private home.
It was actually a law office in Bavaria It was a German lawyer his name was Sigmund Adam and a lot of people say that this is one of the most documented hauntings That we know of with everything went on there's actually historical film footage of these guys like working in that office and setting it up Yeah, there's if you can go to YouTube and type this in and there is footage of things happening It started off in fall of 1967 and they would get strange phone calls You know the phone would ring they would pick it up. No one would be there You know that happens once here they're not a big deal, right? But it happened all the time or they had four phones in the office or all the ring phones would ring at once And no one would be there sometimes they would be on a call and the call would drop And they had their phone system investigated. There's no problem with it.
Yeah, phone company found no issues Yeah, people would try to call in and the phone lines were always busy You know Sigmund reached out to the local phone companies You know, they said you'll come and fix it and the company phone company would come out and they would say there's literally nothing wrong with your phone And he called them several times This wasn't just come at once and this is why it's so documented is because here We've got the first documentation of the telephone company being called several times to try to fix these phone problems And there were never was anything so then the second thing that happened is you know they're going through paying bills and His office was charged remember there's always a phone number you could call back in the day before the internet before you could ask You know Siri or your Alexa where you could get the time time and temperature. Yeah, yeah, sure Yeah, I still know it for pro and it still works. Wow If you could find a phone with a dial on it or does it work from a cell phone to it works from a cell phone just dial it in Wow, wow, the seven people you talk out of it In the very in 1967 they had one of these and it was called the talking clock and the phone number for it was 0 1 1 1 9 So kind of a lengthy number You know, it's not something that you could just kind of accidentally do and you got to think back then they had rotary phones They didn't have button phones So you'd have to really want to get this number and if you know how rotary phones work zero Took for the higher the number the longer it takes. Yeah, zero took forever Could you have to zero is at the very right?
You'd have to turn it clear to the left clear back around the right in the whole circle and the nine was just the next one down The one one one would have been really quick, right? Right, but it wouldn't have been a real simple number to dial the telephone company charged segment for six calls per minute To the talking clock and they figured it out It would it's physically impossible given the time you would need to get that zero around the nine around and have it connect To get six calls per minute and then have the other end to pick up because you know It would kind of ring the rings before picks up and the pickup is what initiated the charge And so again segment calls the telephone company and says, you know, we we literally do not call six times a minute To find out what time it is, you know, I mean I remember having to call the find at the exact time back in the 80s Right because you want to sit your clock or yeah, I was like maybe a handful of times a year Yeah, I'm feeling really old now realizing that I used a rotary phone for like the first 40 years of my life Okay Okay, so I grew up in person and in person the prefix was four six five and I remember you could tell where people were from I'm a prefix on the phone number I remember a period of time or you didn't need to dial before you could just dial six five If this conversation is making me feel like I'm about 300 years old, you know, like I remember the Vikings and jousting and stuff too Yeah, I remember people what's your phone over and it's like Elgin two four five nine. Yeah, they'd have a word before it The battle that corresponded with with the number you know the three letters that are with the number for like in Provo It was Franklin three Franklin was one of the the kind of the neighborhood areas and that was what was used for all over So I remember frankly, you and I grew up with a telegraph if you remember, yeah Yeah, okay Well, maybe I only feel 200 years old because I never used words when I called well you didn't use the words It just you just that's how they they let you know, but you use the word they would say call Franklin three Yeah, so it was actually you know you dial F R. Yeah, whatever the right So then in October the light started to be weird They would rotate their sockets the fixtures would swing and this is one of the videos that they've got on YouTube is the fixture And then you know any typical go-taunting or poltergeist haunting you know the lights are gonna go on and off just at random You know, there was no rhyme no reason to it.
And so again, he's like, okay, my lights are being weird So what do you do you call the electric company? So now we've got documentation from the phone company got documentation from an electricity electric company So they came out and the electrician said there is no I don't know what's causing this There's no known cause for all these weird things But he said you know, I'm going to install a voltage meter just to see if there's any power searches in the office because maybe it's power searches And shockingly get it Shocking with shocking me because it's sadly. I did not write that amazing pun There were searches recorded that were rated powerful enough to blow out the fuses But yet the fuses never blew out and the electric companies like according to our readings your fuses should all be blown But they're not and so you've got the telephone company scratch in the head now you've got the Company scratching their head. We are not done their photocopier began to leak and so this attorney is like oh my gosh You know, what can go wrong next if this was 1960 this it had to have been a ditto machine, right?
The purple print, you know, and you get the sheet in the school and the first thing you do is smell it Yes, just smell that ink, right? Yeah, you cranked it. Yeah, just spit those sheets out and the teacher bring in your paper be damp You have to let it dry off before you can't exist is there oxyvina company in 1960 So Sigma He's still kind of blaming the electric company for this hold on hold on wait wait wait wait So when people say ditto that's like copy. Yeah, same thing.
Yeah, so that's where that came from Or I guess maybe the machine name came from the word I don't know which came first. I'll bet it was the machine first and then people said ditto which is copy Okay documentation from the electric company now the coffee machine is on the fridge Yeah, so he's still thinking that's the electric company So he decided to hire out a private it's the private generator to me a generator something that creates power But I think he meant that he hired out someone else to make his copies But everything still kept happening Yeah, the way it said was Sigma decided to hire out a private generator in hopes of stopping the office however the phenomenon continued After he makes all these phone calls, you know, they try to figure out his likes to try to figure out his phones to try to figure out his coffee machine to hire this generator to you know handle everything there's two physicists that that Kind of caught wind of it and thought huh, this is interesting and so they they called this attorney and said hey Can we come out to your office and just kind of you know take a look see what's going on? You know, he's like yes, you know anything I can do to figure out what all this weirdness is You know, they did their investigation and they were stumped. They said we we don't know we can't explain this.
It's you know physically as in physics We can't go rational explanation. There's there's nothing everything that's going on in Sigma's office kind of reached the paranormal circles And there's a fellow by the name of Hans Bender and he is part of Freeburg's Institute of Parapsychological Research He said hey, you know, let me come out and see what I can what I can do for you and Sigma's like sure, you know I don't have to be contemporary of Hans Holzer then. Yeah, this is the 60s. Wow.
Yeah, so you know, so Sigma's like please You know, I've had I've had everybody in the world out here. No one can figure it out You might as well try to figure it out. So Hans did several interviews with you know all the employees Just you know, what do you see? What did you see?
What did you know? What have you heard? What have you experienced? And he started to realize that all these phenomenon only began and ended at certain times of the day It wasn't stuff that was happening at night or you know randomly and they seemed to be on the same schedule as one of the employees by the name of Anne-Marie Scabrel.
She was actually one of the youngest office employees at 19 years old After talking to a lot of people talking to her he connected the activity to Anne-Marie and said You know, I really think That you dislike your job and you dislike your boss and they didn't go into it into why and he felt that she was just Repressing that anger and that she was in really emotional turmoil and I never did really find anything, you know if she was abused by him or You know why there would be just a storm. Well, maybe she just had to have this job Like she couldn't quit. Maybe she just really needed the money and couldn't it didn't go into the reasons why she hated her job And hated her employer But the fellow bender Was able to document on video how the lights immediately started to flicker on once Anne-Marie entered the office And it was claimed that a lampshade would swing violently when she walked beneath it Wow And they actually had her come in and do this to test this and it worked so in the winter of 68 or of 67 to 68 the phenomenon continued to grow more things started to happen. It went beyond electricity and furniture moving both of them and Just items would move it will they would have drawers open huge pieces of furniture would move but it wouldn't damage the floor Which they said was made of linoleum, you know, no scratches or scuff marks light bulbs were unscrewed Calendar pages flew off paintings would turn on their hooks drawers would slide out from their desks And they said that the most shocking thing was when and people saw this They saw a heavy oak cabinet which they estimate to be about 400 pounds slid a few feet and left no scuffs No scratches.
Well, and they all watched it. Oh, no, no, no And so Hans noted noted that in his research poltergeist activity usually came from young people usually unknowingly You know, they weren't doing this on purpose, especially teenagers We're capable of creative disruptive psychic energy Kind of in their sphere, you know, especially if they had repressed anger or frustrations or turmoil over something teenagers Nah, I know right. They're not sure if she was kind of put off or offended by these questions and this testing and his results and conclusions Or if she was just tired or she really did just hate her job She finally quit and when she quit all this phenomenon stopped well, that's pretty conclusive Now some people say it's kind of a rumor they say that she was placed on paid leave and when the activities stopped She was fired so we don't know if you know which part of that story is true There are rumors that the electric the electrical activity continued throughout Anne Marie's experience even when she had left her employer There's a rumor that suggested boyfriend broke up with her to bully Nelly after freak electrical accident But in 1969 she was married and the activity surrounding her stopped. They're not sure if it was You know to for her to get or the boss to get attention for the business But a lot of people thought 1967 who's gonna want to hire in the turning with the haunted office I mean, it's not really the thing to do some people said that Hans may have conspired at all to make him look better in the paranormal world But it says either way the office the people behind the movements the electrical company the telephone company two physicists All had documented evidence of these things were happening So whether it's Anne Marie and her turmoil and just that energy itself You know kind of the psycho kinesis moving things annoyingly whether it was just because of her turmoil I'm a little spirit was able to use her to do this stuff to scare people.
We don't know but it's very very interesting I'm very well documented. I've got a little squirrel tangent on this. Okay. We were talking about ditto machines Yes And it says the ditto machine named for the manufacturer ditto corporation of Illinois is used in a process called Spirit duplication.
Oh wow invented the machine in 1923 and over the years the copies produced became known as dittos due to the machines like I thought that was funny that it's spirit replication or duplication. That's quite a coincidence for what we're talking about interesting That's it for my little tangent. Awesome anything we want to add to poltergeist before we know I know that it's you know It's it's it's actually a big theory that poltergeist activity is you know human caused by that you know Psychokinetic activity, you know strong emotions teenagers, right that's carried over even today, right? And you know and for me it's so popular you don't call it a noisy ghost but I've worked with and dealt with a lot of ghosts that have been noisy and they're not all and does that make every ghost that makes a noise a poltergeist know oh just movement really I mean There's so many different names for ghosts ghosts spirit spooks entities You know I do think that that people holding repressed anger and being able to make things move through energy However, that might work is a thing and I thought a poltergeist but you can't consciously control it through anger I don't think and that's the problem, you know You use the force.
Yeah, yeah, exactly you've got to be centered, you know to I don't know For myself and you know like you Raven and some of the people that can pick up on energy I can't do it if I'm emotionally upset. I've got to be centered in calm. Oh, yeah No, if I'm overwhelmed everything goes out the window. Yep.
Yeah, well that was cool That's actually fairly recent, you know, I mean I was alive when this was happening. That's neat Well, and it's neat that it's well documented because a lot of the things in the paranormal community paranormal world are not Well, yeah, this happened in you know a modern country an advanced country in a city, you know that the Germans are you know They were Technologically ahead and it wasn't just some fly-by-night guy. It was an attorney, you know That's going to be fairly well respected right and even the parapsychologist was a professional absolutely That was neat. I didn't get to see this, but yeah, I saw it last night. It was cool Yeah, I just barely got these so I I tried them out at Petitny last night They are little LED flashlight gloves and they're not a full glove It just fits slides over your four finger and thumb and then velcro's around your wrist And you have a light on the four finger and thumb and you just tap a button on the back of your hand and they light up And they really free up, you know, your hand you don't have to carry a flashlight now because your hand is the flashlight Did I have one that like is that one is an LED regular light and one is an LED black light? Not that I found I've been looking for the astronomy set which has red LEDs and I haven't found them yet Because I use my flashlight.
You know, I bet if you if you asked whiskey really nicely He could probably replace the white LEDs with UV LEDs Whiskey listening. I'm not texting. Yeah. Now one thing I just got these on Amazon and they're fairly inexpensive They're like, you know, if you wait for sale, I got one pair for like nine bucks But be they come in different colors like some gray and black and camo different color of glove not white Not the light right the lights are always bright white LEDs for you know flashlight type But be careful what you order.
There are two types one is rechargeable with a USB cable and the other type uses disposable CR 2016 Batteries the little my preference. Yeah, the thin ones right exactly camera batteries You know, they get pretty expensive they can so if you're gonna be using this I would recommend getting the rechargeable version and they're they're a couple of bucks more money But it's well worth it. Yeah, I'm the money you save on batteries long and they're available on Amazon So just look up for your search terms use LED flashlight gloves on Amazon one size fits most Very bright. Here's a funny thing.
I forgot I was wearing these last night of first time I wore them and for the first You know hour I'm still reaching into my pocket to pull out a flashlight before I finally remembered Oh, duh, I got these things on my hand and so for the rest of the night it worked out much better Give me a shot. They came in handy. Oh, next lot of I'm ordering me some Since we're done recording There you go. There you go.
All right. Just couldn't be here So we'll have to hear about her stones when she comes on next she's actually at a haunted house right now Yeah, I thought that sounds like our junk drawer So usually when people think about ghosts or spirits you talk to about it like at the at the farmer's markets that we did We'd ask people hey, have you ever been ghost hunting you can't you can come with us tonight? And they'd all say the same thing not all of them, but many of them would say the same thing. Oh, it's too scary It's too scary ghost scary ghosts are scary.
I actually found a handful of just little short Ghost experiences that are actually kind of friendly and helpful So I'm gonna read through this because they're kind of fun. Oh, a list a list good It's it's a matter house in cold Ashton and I don't know if cold is a description or the name Which is cold there if it's called cold Ashton. I believe it's in England and it's been empty for decades But you know obviously it hasn't always been that way. You know at some point it was a function home It was you know grand.
It's a matter house. So I had wealth attendance I had staff there are stories of motorists who will get lost in the area and they've stopped at the house and asked for directions And I'll knock on the front door and a butler will answer and he'll you know help them. You know figure where you're going I'll go this way go that way the thing is that no one lives there nobody When people approach it it looks like it's lived in it looks like it's a functioning home You know they knock on the door when the buffer answers and helps them. I mean there's no there's no weirdness weird But when it's weird because it's yeah, but it's not it's not the rocky horror picture show No, but then later, you know, they'll pass by again and it houses in jambles and they're like that's the house that But you know everyone there's nothing scary about there's just the butler ghost that helps you I mean he's bubbling I guess and helping the Buddling you know where I got the word bubbling from no, I have no idea.
I don't think I've ever heard that word before Farmers farm teachers teach butler's bottle. It's from Joseph in the amazing technical dream cook. Mm-hmm And Joseph when the place by Donnie Osmond Yes, that's the only good remember that and when the when you know he's in prison and the butler You know comes in and tells him the stream Joseph says you'll battle like you did before so it's a word I was gonna guess mighty mighty Python that that works. Okay, so then there's a story.
It's called the blue ladies tale And most ghost stories and in tragedy so this is you know the story of a beautiful young woman She always wore blue she fell in love with a handsome bit dangerous man And your typical ghost story. He was a piano player Players are dangerous men. So he was a piano player at the Moss Beach distillery in a northern California beach town The but this young woman that fell in love with this piano player She was already married but she would go to this restaurant whenever she could and and you know try to get with this piano player Well, we're not really sure what happened either She died on the beach below this restaurant sometime in the early 1900s or she leapt to her death We're not sure how she died, but she is seen in the area wearing a long blue dress and appearing sad And so you're like well, this sounds like another very happy story, but she's actually a protector She plays little pranks here and there and they didn't go into what her pranks were But for the most part they say she's seen by children and the restaurant kind of sits on a cliff You know, so there's this great view, but it's dangerous and They said that a lot of people have actually seen her like children have seen her keeping them away so that they don't She's always dressed in blue. Yes.
Wow and they've said this even not knowing that they're about the lady in blue exactly So there is another one, you know, a lot of people will talk about ghost sightings Sometimes they're scared of them, but this ghost actually goes out it went out of its way to help make someone rich That ghost can come hang around maybe like yeah, yeah, send it my way into my way in this one It's the family their last name is not in UTT and they lived in up and down England and the oldest daughter's name was Anne She was 18 at the time and she started seeing the strange ghost who was trying to tell her that something was hidden in their house You know when you see a ghost and they're like hey something's in your house. You're gonna go okay So, you know, they look they look they really couldn't find anything This ghost was persistent kept going and know there's something hidden in your house. They're sitting in the house and so finally The ghost was able to indicate this one particular flagstone in the walkway and when they turned it over They found a pot beneath it and inside the pot was almost 200 silver coins. Wow He listened to me listen to me.
I'll show you what I mean. Yeah, I need one of those ghosts That's the kind of ghost I need to find we all need to find that one. Yeah, so I have a couple more I am not a nurse. I've never been a nurse.
I have a son who's a nurse I'm a son who's a doctor the other that's a mother that's a mother that's a nurse and I have a wife who's a nurse I don't know personally like having been a nurse, but I know people that are and I know it's not easy I know getting the degree is not easy. The job is not an easy job. It's kind of a thinkless job in a lot of ways But in this story, there's a veteran on staff who helps the new nurses kind of There was a nurse her name was Ruby. She was new.
She was working in the hospital and was very overwhelmed You know, it's anybody can be in any new job, but when people's lives are on the line that that adds an extra little mode of stress and Ruby says that this older nurse came in and said hey, you want to might want to go check in on room here really quick and so Ruby did She found that the patient was in trouble, but was able to help her in time and This helpful older nurse warned her a couple more times throughout the evening You know, hey, go check on this patient go check on that patient and When Ruby would go into these patients, they would say that they'd also been checked on by this older nurse and so Ruby was asking her fellow nurses about this When we know this nurses would help me been checking on my patients. You know who wish I hadn't seen her and That's when she learned about Martha and these nurses said yeah, you've seen Martha This was a nurse who helped recent nursing grads who still made the rounds with her patients 30 years after her own death So if you know she's not getting a paycheck anymore, right you would think that she's very helpful in his help So Okay Last one is about a fellow named James Lewis chafin and he died in 1921 He had a fall he left behind a wife and four children and when they read the will They really were kind of shocked to find that everything was left to the third son and that he didn't leave anything to the rest of the family And that just didn't make any sense to them. I'm a third son that didn't happen to me. That's good No, it's not But in 1925 a ghost appeared and changed everything So it turns out that the ghost of James began to appear to one of his other sons Showing him that the will that they had read was fake.
That's not the one that he had left And he says no I left everything to the family You know the whole family not this one person and what followed they can only describe as kind of a treasure hunt You know it doesn't say why but I guess you couldn't just say sit down and say hey, you know go look here They had to kind of give them cryptic messages And so you know going from one clue to the next to the next until finally they were able to find the actual will which was hidden in an old Family Bible and it said that everything you know should have been split evenly between that was it notarized? It said everything would be split evenly between the four sons and the wife. Wow. I don't know But apparently they check the family Bible first.
