Ross Candelino Joins Fresno State Basketball

Fresno State mens basketball gains a significant boost with the addition of Ross Candelino, a six-foot-five guard transferring from Lipscomb University. Candelino, a Jacksonville, Florida native, averaged 11.3 points and 5.1 rebounds per game at Lipscomb, shooting 47.7% from the field and 41.7% from beyond the arc in the 2025-2026 season. Prior to Lipscomb, he walked on at Wisconsin, playing five games as a freshman and redshirting his second year. Candelinos high school career at Ponte Vedra High School was equally impressive, averaging 14.2 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game as a senior, earning him All-Daytona Beach News Journal First Team and Northeast Florida All-Star Classic MVP honors. With Candelino on board, the Bulldogs are building a formidable team, expecting him to make a significant impact on the wing next season.
