Ross Chastain On His Famous “Hail Melon” + Justin Marks Talks The Creation Of Trackhouse Racing

The guys start off the episode with the beginning of Justin and Ross’s relationship and how Ross basically took Justin’s job in the truck series. Ross then gets into the crazy story of his main sponsors when he was coming up through the ranks ended up getting raided by the FBI in a billion dollar Ponzi scheme. Then the guys get into how Justin started Trackhouse Racing and his vision in trying to approach creating a racing team in a different way. Rather than being a side business, he wanted to make it into something where people can root for a whole team rather than just specific drivers. Justin gets into how he knew he wanted Ross to be one of his drivers and Ross talks about whether or not he thought about possibly joining a different team. Ross then gets into what has been coined as the “Hail Melon”, the viral moment of him wall riding to get into the Championship 4 at Martinsville.
