Ross-Simmons Returns to Syracuse | Syracuse Orangemen Football News

Justus Ross-Simmons is back on the Syracuse football team after a court ruling allows athletes from the 2022 class to use their fifth year of eligibility. Cleared by the program Monday, he’ll hit the field Tuesday, returning for the love of the game—not money—and to finish his degree and chase pro dreams. His agent explored options, but Syracuse made sense because he already knows the offense. Ross-Simmons, who caught 14 passes for 202 yards and 5 TDs in 4 games last season with QB Steve Angeli, is starting from the bottom of the depth chart but is already working hard to get back in shape. The ruling is temporary, with a final decision pending—and Syracuse has three other players who could benefit too.
