Self Care is an interesting and important point of interest indeed. If you don’t take care of yourself, then who will… your mother?! Not if you’ve grown older and have the new responsibility. Not if you have no one to call when challenges get tough. Not if you caught the flu and you’re lying there trying to figure it out. Not when you need to make a decision, and you can’t get anyone to make it for you. Self-care means looking out for oneself and staying on top of the things that need attention. It means liking and loving yourself enough to not question when you need to value your own perspective and needs. So, in the final analysis, just be okay with looking out for your own self along the way and be comfortable with that concept. It doesn’t mean selfish; it doesn’t mean any bad thing to any other person… It just means that self-preservation is the First Law of Nature!
