Satan returns to heaven for round two, and God points to Job again—the man who lost everything yet still holds fast to his integrity "without cause." So Satan raises the stakes with a chilling wager: "Skin for skin!"—strike Job's flesh with agonizing boils, and he'll finally curse God to His face. God permits the attack but sets the line—"spare his life" proving the enemy still moves only on a leash God holds.
