Studying Fine Art at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design in Dundee, Rowan has carved out a successful career as an artist living and working in Glasgow. The use of colour and light in her work is inspired by the places she has explored whilst travelling and living in Melbourne’s after her studies, with memories of patterns and figures informing her abstract take on her experiences. From school wet playtime creations to exhibiting her work in galleries, Rowan recounts the highlights to date and the journey to becoming a professional artist and what it means to pursue your passions in life!
