He currently suffers from Locked-In Syndrome--a phenomenon where the patient loses ALL ability for voluntary movement, can not speak, yet is completely conscious. Essentially you are 'trapped' in your own body. Not one day has gone by since that fucking nightmare of a day where i don't think of him and the implications of what had happened. My song "Fall Asleep" is dedicated to John Michael. We want to get the word out about his story as much as we can. All dollars made from the song will be donated to his 501(c)(3) fund.
