I currently run my own home business, Readings By Roxy, out of Lloydminster, Saskatchewan. I offer a number of different services as a Certified Reiki Energy Healer, Certified Massage Therapist, and Certified Angel Card Reader for the past ten years.Being a First Nations women, we were taught just to take what has happened and don’t complain. I just couldn’t do that. I have had to stand up for myself and my children more than once in this life!The reason I chose to share my story here was two things.After speaking with Julie, the Founder of Women Like Me, I knew this was a safe space where I could be real and open.Next is that I know there are so many other women going through what I have gone through in my life.I was so incredibly thankful to be a part of something so positive for creating awareness for Women.
