Royal Tea! Woede op de Dam, Máxima’s rode zolen en protest in Venetië

Odilia reageert fel op de verstoring van de Dodenherdenking en vraagt zich hardop af waar de grenzen liggen van protest tijdens nationale herdenkingen. Rick kijkt ondertussen naar de rol van het koningshuis: waarom bleef prinses Amalia opnieuw buiten beeld? Máxima trekt later die week alle aandacht in Venetië tijdens de Biennale, waar mode, kunst en politiek ongemakkelijk samenkomen. Haar opvallende Nederlandse couture-look zorgt voor discussie, net als de confronterende woorden die het koningspaar te horen krijgt over Gaza tijdens de opening van het Nederlandse paviljoen. En nee: die beroemde rode zolen waar Odilia en Rick het over hebben, slaan níet op Venetië, maar op Máxima’s schoenen tijdens 4 mei — vlak na de rode verfactie op de Dam. Verder: prinses Eugenie lijkt haar zwangerschap nauwelijks meer verborgen te kunnen houden, Camilla blijkt ineens verrassend digitaal dankzij een paarden-app, prinses Leonor vliegt straaljagers alsof het de normaalste zaak van de wereld is, en Odilia ergert zich aan blote benen in de kerk.
