Royals Add Dobnak for Depth

The Royals are quietly bolstering their pitching staff with the addition of Randy Dobnak, acquired from the Mariners via a minor league deal with a roster protection clause. With three starters sidelined—Cole Ragans, Kris Bubic, and Seth Lugo—the move adds crucial depth as the team battles a losing streak. Dobnak, a former rookie sensation with a 1.59 ERA in 2019, brings solid MLB experience (39 appearances, 21 starts) despite past finger injuries. This season, he posted a 4.24 ERA in 13 Triple-A starts for Tacoma. It’s a smart, timely move to stabilize the rotation. Support the show:Get a discount at https://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
