Royals Add McGee to Bolster Bullpen | Kansas City Royals News

The Royals just added right-hander Easton McGee to bolster their struggling bullpen, sending him to Triple-A Omaha while freeing up a 40-man roster spot after Nick Mears went on the 60-day IL with a shoulder injury. McGee, 28, has a solid minor league track record and could step into the bullpen this season as the Royals, currently tied for worst in MLB, scramble to fix their five-point-three-three ERA mess — with closer Carlos Estévez sidelined and Alex Lange now in the closer’s role. More moves are expected as KC tries to turn things around. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
